Note that @dinhtungdu got an initial commit into the repo that handles a large majority of this functionality. The next thing he's going to look into on this is getting the position of the player and surrounding block to initial render correctly so that it does not overlap content before or after the block.

Closing as this is essentially working in develop, any tweaks/improvements can be tracked as new issues.
