I think that thanks to the importer pluggable system and metaclasses, 90% of the work can be done in python itself. I will investigate on it soon.

Wow, I am very impressed with the progress you've made here! Good job! Let me know when you think it is pretty solid for the case I listed in my original report and I would be happy to test it out in a scenario I have written in Unreal.js that would be extremely easy to port.

I think the latest subclassing code base is 'robust' enough to allow us to close this issue after 9 months :)
