Duplicated entries on my contact list

I was using the App while I walked to Contacts' list and I saw that some contacts were duplicated or triplicated


Then I closed the App and opened again, another one apeared duplicated (only once) after a few minutes.

step by step:

select a Picture -->
add a second Picture with add button-->
select the second Picture in ImageView -->
switch back to first Picture -->
app crashes

• Sort option to sort chats

• Tap and hold on a chat to mark it as read
• Use a pivot to swipe between chats?
• Show multiple notifications on the Live-tile (with Large tile or rotate like in Snips?)
• Take users to the mention of them in an group when they tap on the notification.
• Shortcuts on keyboard (Ctrl+Enter for next line, shortcut to search, etc.)
• Swipable actions in Home (Swipe to Favourite a chat or dismiss all messages as read)
• The option to have Round or Square profile pictures
• Option to export chats as an .txt-file or XML-file.
• Ability to have chats in seperate windows
• Protect chats and/or app with a password/Windows Hello
• Download/Upload-list for active uploads and downloads
• Automatic tags on uploads to easily find download back in the chat (on other platforms)

what happened?

It's been a long time since last update,so what happened??

Settings inactive and not saving

None of the settings load and when I change the sync with people hub or enable location services, they don't save for the next time I open the app. Plus the app takes WAY TOO LONG TO LOAD UP.

Make categories for channel, group,super group & normal chat

Unigram won't open

I can't open the latest version of Unigram, I could install previous version successfully .
My device is HTC One M8 with Build 14393.321

Opening chat wont make unread count zero

When i open ANY chat, channel, ... in unigram and then go out, the unread counter will not remove (0) and remain same as before opening the chat.

Pinned messages unremovable

When you remove a pinned message by pressing on the "x" and you reopen the chat, it reappears

Preprocess sent messages text to generate and cache Entities

When you rotate the phone twice (left, portrait etc.), chat pages are unreachable

Next buttons position

When opening the application for first time and trying to login, when opening keyboard for type, the Next button will be covered with keyboard and you must close keyboard to see and click that button.

Align Persian/Arabic text to right.

Hi, could you please align text of messages to right if the language of the text is Persian /Arabic?
Android and iOS apps have this feature but WP's app doesn't. So it'll be a good thing for Unigram.

Unread messages don't get marked as read

If a conversation has unread messages, opening it doesn't mark them as read.

Reply banner has the wrong foreground when sending a message with dark theme

[Known] Avatar in groups doesn't show

Notifications for silent chats are delivered anyway

Marker (✔) for newly sent messages has the wrong color

when still inside the conversation they are gray (like the background)
leaving and reentering they have the correct color like the other ones

Hi,
I've been following the project now for some time and find it really amazing what has been done.
On thing what I don't like at many apps are the ellipse picture of the accounts. That's why I would like an option for this.

Buttons in text area should be bottom aligned

Problem with image caption

When I tap on the textbox to add a caption to the image the keyboard covers textbox.

Thumbnails not loading inside the shared media page

I cannot send messages or open chats

When I open the app I cannot send messages because I can't open chats. Lumia 535 Windows 10 10586 ( TH2 )

Unread message counter does not reset when entering a chat

No time stamp shown on old messages

On messages not received on the current day, there's no date stamp shown.
Would be nice to have, in order to see when the last message was sent/received.

Slow start

Hi, after update to version 0.1.7.63 app open slowly on my lumia 950XL.
Can you add in about menu the version number? so I can understand if the app is really being updated.

Create a binding context system to access DialogViewModel from ItemTemplates

After resuming, chat doesn't update until go to main menu

When sending a message that ends with an emoji using in-app button the text field doesn't clear

And when sending with keyboard enter button the text is sent twice

hello. We unigram a nice update. And I think that we are together. Why the update is not received? I myself, for example, I have a good idea of the chat part layout, or from above, and a lot of things I chose nice. thank you

no/slow internet connection => vanished chat history

as far as I experienced this issue, it only occurs when the app is completely restarted and there's no (or just slow) internet connection available

App crashes when removing photo in 'select photos'-flyout

Reproduction steps:

1. Open random chat
2. Click attachments-icon > Photo
3. Select multiple photos
4. Remove kebab (photo)
5. App crashed

This bug will also cause the chat list to become empty. Reinstall the app to make all chats visible again.

Toast notification doesn't redirect to chat conversation only when the app is closed

This happens only when the app is closed.

Add "Send message by Enter - on/off" button.

That's all.

How can I test the app?

I red that I have to create an app on the telegram site, but whose information should I insert in the form, like the URL of the app? Sorry for my english and my basic errors.
Btw I had already download and I opened the project in Visual Studio, this is the thing I missed

Channel icon showing in chats list instead of group icon

As title says, Tres tontos group, as shown in the image, shows a channel icon instead of group one, as it should do

Duplicated entities when sending rich text message

Live tile & notifications don't work properly

• the live tile doesn't work as expected (may be related to the "broken" unread messages counter)
• (multiple) notifications belonging to one chat don't vanish when one of those notifications is clicked
• some notifications arrive late (and persist) even when already opened
