🌊 Well, hello there... 🧊 Nice for you to come by

Not exactly sure what flavor of engineer to call myself, but I've studied electrical engineering, computer science and health technology and currently work with system administration and management of DevOps services.

  • First languages I learned: Python and C
  • Current distro: Pop!_OS (and starting realize it doesn't matter)
  • Favorite command: grep/ripgrep (logs, reveal your secrets! 🕵️‍♂️)
  • Most want to learn: Kubernetes
  • In the zone coding music: fusion jazz (=GoGo Penguin, Snarky Puppy, Immortal Onion etc.)
  • Best hacking scene in a movie: Swordfish (he sure did a number on that square thingy...)

I've used linux every now and then, since I started my first university studies in 2012, but I didn't really get hooked until recently. I'm starting to transition to using mostly vim, but still like doing certain tasks with VS Code. I'm trying to make my workflow a bit better with neovim, tmux, zoxide, fzf etc. tools, but also trying ease myself and not go whole hog with configuring everything at once.
