require.js not installed into bower_components

require.js not installed into bower_components

I'm seeing the same thing. Looking at bower.json I don't see require.js in there. I did a fresh install on a new computer of generator-angular this morning.

I tried adding require to bower.json, but that didn't help:

$ bower install
bower requirejs#~2.1.10         cached git://github.com/jrburke/requirejs-bower.git#2.1.14
bower requirejs#~2.1.10       validate 2.1.14 against git://github.com/jrburke/requirejs-bower.git#~2.1.10
bower requirejs#~2.1.10        install requirejs#2.1.14

requirejs#2.1.14 bower_components/requirejs

$ grunt build
Warning: Task "requirejs:dist" not found. Use --force to continue.

Aborted due to warnings.

Using --force didn't help either.

Was there perhaps a structural change to generator-angular?

It looks like bower_components is now in the top directory instead of /app. Older versions had bower_components like so:
/app/bower_components

FWIW, I am able to get generator-angular to build and install without issue.

The ref to requirejs under bower components is correct - the next build to npm will resolve (local testing this evening looks good, but due to the way in which main.js is now written, generator tests are failing, which is what I'm resolving today/tomorrow)
