Hi.
It's difficult to tell what the reason is. I have not installed this repo from zip file yet but it seems more an issue with abapGit than with ABAP-Logger.
This issue seems related: abapGit/abapGit#2234
Maybe open an issue in the abapGit project.

i've still not managed to resolve this. but might this be because there is a file for the package in this repo? Because for offline created repo in abapGit you will create the package yourself beforehand.
