The error message didn't really make sense to me, but I checked out your repository (pyvectorguidance) and found a problem inside setup.py.

semantic-relase-pypi has some lmitations:

• only supports setuptools (I should add this to the README)
• The version parameter of setup must not be set

Here is a modified setup.py that should work
