What OS are you running? I've tested this with Fritzing 7.11 on OS X and Win7 and haven't been able to replicate your error. Are you opening the library or just the part files?

I'm on OS X.8.2

I've tried with the following files

Raspberry Pi (Model B).fzpz
AdaFruit.fzbz
Raspberry Pi Model B.fzpz

So I need to do something to them first (like unzip them?)

I've managed to get the library loaded on several computers running OS X 10.8.2.

How are you opening the library? On OS X, all you need to do in Fritzing is go to File | Open and then choose the AdaFruit.fzbz file and it should automatically import it.

Sorry -- I had a family emergency and had to travel.

Now fixed this! An embarrassing snfu on my part

Previously I had tried to download the files from GitHub as files and tt obviously did not do what I assumed. Once I cloned the repo and loaded the library it was all good. Bit obvious really.

When you download individual files from github, windows "blocks" the files. When you check -out the repo of download as a .zip, the files are blocked. You can right-click each file and choose un-block

HI.
I am also getting a warning. Can you suggest how to fix this?

I have not opened the program for a long time, but then everything worked. I could add components via "drag and drop" and via "File - Open".

I used Version 0.9.5 on Win 8.1 Pro
