Linux version of the app

We have Linux support on our backlog, but we are currently researching our strategy for our app shell. We're currently using an older version of CEF and are looking to either upgrade to CEF3 or use Chrome content shell directly. We're hoping to wrap up and present our research by June. If you have any perspective or feedback on this topic, we'd love to hear it.

So until then, I think we need to put Linux support on hold (or risk re-doing a bunch of work).

This means in short, NO WAIT ANY ADOBE PRODUCT FOR LINUX. It is very typical, from Adobe.

@alejonext This repo is deprecated only because it has been replaced by brackets-shell. There is plenty of work still ongoing on a Linux version -- please read the wiki link above for details. And remember this is open source, so if you're dissatisfied with the pace others are making progress on Linux, you always have the option of submitting a pull request or even forking it yourself (i.e. Adobe doesn't have a monopoly on the destiny of Brackets).
