Thank you! :)
I’m not exactly sure how you would do such a backup. If you mean manually copying files that are inside the GetFlow data folder – namely GetFlow.db, everything should work fine. This file contains all activity settings and statistics data. I’ve done such a thing when testing this application, but this isn’t something I would recommend doing. It’s not at all user-friendly, and you’ll need a rooted phone to even open that directory.
If you have backups enabled in your phone settings (Settings » Google » Backup » Back up to Google Drive), it should automatically upload a copy of your data to Drive. You can see a list of apps that have been backed up in the Google Drive app by opening the drawer and going to Backups » Your Phone Backup » App data. There you’ll see the last time that GetFlow was backed up. Therefore, when you set up a new device, you should be able to import that data.
But I plan to write some kind of manual database export and import from inside the application. This will make backing up and transferring to a new device more reliable.

The app backup in android works seamlessly. I reinstalled the app in a new phone and the settings were all there.

That would be great.
