Unfortunately, authentication is not supported at this time. It is pretty straightforward to add the feature, we will add it as a feature request.

Yes, you are correct. Some enterprise clients do use authentication. The feature had previously been requested in Java and C#, both very enterprise oriented platforms. We did not add it to Node.js, because of no prior interest, even though it is available in the underlying C client library. We had prioritized others features such as user-defined functions (LDTs), scans and queries. Once those are completed, then authentication should not be too far behind.

Can we use node-java with aerospike-java-client library now? Do you have test it with nodejs application?

We do not have test cases that test aerospike-client-java with nodejs application. But we accept contributions from community. Please do send a pull request if you have tested this.
