Hello,
what you are trying to do is absolutely possible and something I do myself in my projects.
You do not necessarily need to use the CustomProvider
- this is just a part of the Demo project so that I don't need to repeat the provider logic on every single page. The Provider
parameter on the grid takes a delegate (see https://blazorgrid.z6.web.core.windows.net/docs/components/grid), so you can pass your own function to provide the data. If you want to include some filtering information, I suggest you define this function inside the page so your filter object would be easily accessible. Also, inside this function it is completely up to you how and where you get the data from and if you want to use HttpClient
or whatever else.
