Hi @shootermv thanks for submitting the issue but I cannot reproduce it. Moreover, this repository is for ng2-admin and you provided a link to angular 1.x admin version which is a separate github repository https://github.com/akveo/blur-admin . I'm closing the issue here and if it's still reproducible please submit an issue to blur-admin repo. Thank you.

I only wanted to point out that in /blur-admin
https://github.com/akveo/blur-admin version the expanded menu item has
arrow icon pointing up, while in /ng2-admin project - the arrow always
stays pointing down

Hi, did the pull request that i think fixing the problem.
I think that if you doing CSS animation you should not to replace the
class (since animation already doing the change) - so i only removed the
switching class logic
I tested the fix on my environment but please check it yourself
I will be glad if it helped you
