Ciao @thoni56,

I've tweaked the XSL stylesheets so that Game Transcript now are shown "boxed" — I've also added custom vars to control the colors of text, background and border.

Right now, I've used blues (very light for background, dark for text), but of course it can be changed at any time easily via the custom vars (including choosing no border and/or transparent BG).

The original XSL stylesheet didn't add any BG color or box around it, although Asciidoctor does add border and BG colors to Example blocks! Game Transcripts are just example blocks with a custome role — ie, I thought not to use verbatim blocks, since there are already enough of those for code examples and BNF rules; also, most people associate IF play with terps like Gargoyle, which doesn't use a monospace font.

Anyhow, the basic template work has now been layed down, and can be now reused for other custom blocks, and colors can always be tweaked again.

Also, I think that we should consider most colors used now as temporary examples, in the sense that in the end we'll need to step back at look at all the colors used in the book, and check if they are in harmony with each other or if there is a need to harmonize them by working on a dedicated palette.

I've update the Manual with new styles, so you can check how it looks like. Personally, I like it, it's quite a relaxing scheme. But some tweaks still need to be done: first and last paragraphs spacing inteferferes with box paddings; also, should consider how long boxes at page breaks should behave (how the borders should break, and if orphan lines should be avoided, etc.).
