Using in Ionic 2: No Directive annotation found on ColorPickerDirective

I am having the same issue when using webpack with plain Angular 2 RC5 and RC6. It works perfectly fine when used as described with the Angular 2 tutorials. I sadly have no clue what causes this.

I've updated the library to ng2 final, do you still have problems?

Unfortunately yes..
Error message is slightly different but still there:

Ionic 2 is now at RC0 and using Angular 2 final, this means Ionic is now using NgModule (app.module.ts) to declare components and directives. Unforortunately Ionic is also using AoT compilation by default so the issue now is #40
