It was absolutely empty inside. No contents. Even no brackets that must be in json.

And yes. My settings.json is empty (and this can be the reason). I'm not sure if it was not empty before, never looked, but I'm absolutely sure that I didn't edit it manually.

Hi, could you please try to delete your transmission and transmission-ls folders that are located in /homeassistant/addons_config/ when accessing it with the Filebrowser addon ? Thanks

Oh. I see your idea. I did a lil another trick. I couldn't remove that directories because I'd lost my seeding torrents. I renamed that directories, started addon so new directories were created. Then I stopped add-on, moved settings.json from new directory to the old one and renamed directoris back. After that I started addon and everything worked fine.
Thanks for your help! Without that I guess wouldn't managed to fix it.

by any chance did you kept a version of the erroneous settings.json ? So I could check what was inside to automatically delete it if needed
