Experience (two decades of years) with TCP/IP networks and routing, debugging of software, runtime and build optimization of software. I am familiar with remote work, and ticket systems, active monitoring. Linux system maintenance, upgrades.

Familiar with HTCondor, Slurm, GNU parallel, C, shell scripting (bash/sed/awk), ansible, software packaging for Debian/Ubuntu, and macOS (with brew), and FreeBSD ports.

User of macOS, Debian GNU/Linux + kFreeBSD. Also played with GNU/Hurd, Haiku OS, FreeDOS, Minix, ReactOS, sel4, Plan9, and NeXTSTEP/OPENSTEP.
