Hi Paul

Yes, clipping doesn't work well in R2014b. There's probably something that can be done about this - the bounding box dimensions in the eps file would need to be changed. I'm willing to accept pushes for this.

Mathworks are aware of an issue with some filled regions having faint white lines across them in R2014b (when viewed as a pdf). They need to fix that, and are apparently working on it.

thanks for the reply (and for such a useful code). I am sorry that I really cannot contribute much: eps is a mystery too me. Still, I'll take a look to see if there is anything obvious.

Closing as the stripes issue is a problem with print that Mathworks is dealing with. Actually not sure I understand the clipping issue. If you believe it is a bug then feel free to create a new issue and state what happens and what is expected, along with the test case.
