The codelab and ExoPlayer itself have been updated since this bug was filed. If you are still experiencing this issue please open a new issue with the make, model and build number of the phone, as well as steps to reproduce.

@dturner I am still facing this issue in [ExoPlayerLib/2.9.6] [mido, Redmi Note 4, Xiaomi, 24] device.
I am using flutter and using video_player plugin. My flutter version is 1.22.
Kindly help or share any suggestion you have, will be highly appreciated. FYI I have already tried and wasted 28 hours to fix this issue but still pending. Thank you.
