a's Introduction

a

Annotator for ES5. Lets you write ES5 with TypeScript-like annotations.

Disclaimer

This library is super experimental. Like winter, changes are coming.

Use

This JS code:

a.RouteConfig([
  { path: '/' }
]).
View({
  template: '...'
}).
for(MyController)
function MyController () {}

Is the same as this TypeScript code:

@RouteConfig([
  { path: '/' }
])
@View({
  template: '...'
})
class MyController {}

Another potential syntax (a)

Here's a suggestion for another potential syntax that looks even more like decorator annotations and removes the need for the .for DSL.

(a).RouteConfig([
  { path: '/' }
])
(a).View({
  template: '...'
})
(MyController)
function MyController () {}

Naming... :-)

Really this project should be called at, no?

Also, I am worried that for has looping connotations. Perhaps on would be better?

at
  .RouteConfig(…)
  .View(…)
  .on(MyRouteComponent);
