Doesn't this behaviour match our Deck Picker?

Well, it does.

Now that I am rethinking about this, the current behaviour is expected. Otherwise, the user won't be able to select a parent deck.

In the tag selection dialog, clicking the row reveals the sub-tags. But that dialog contains a checkbox to select the parent tag. Such a checkbox won't be appropriate for the deck selection dialog or the deck picker.

Probably, the newness of the dialog made me think that it doesn't work intuitively.
