Raw templates to not define parameters, hence, attribute lastLine isn't defined. Raw templates are not the same thing loading them via a group. In that case, it does error checking. raw templates are for backward compatibility and quick little things.

But mainRaw.st has a parameter (name) which is detected. I don't understand exactly why lastLine isn't detected.
So there is no way to do what I want to do using raw templates?
