Looks like some of the pickling code is left incomplete. If you can give more details on what object you tried to pickle, that could help solving this. The error is coming from a extractors.pyx, but you mention this came from unpickling a model, which I assume was FM_FTRL or one of the other models.

I think the problem is that you're pickling a class method as part of the model. For example if you try to have a class-specific text normalization function "def normalize(self, text)", pickling will give this error. Storing the same function as a global variable will pickle fine.

Changed to pickling with dill, so batcher can now handle these cases. In other cases import dill before other packages, so Python pickling can handle this
