This error may caused by you are using a newest version of eos-py package.
You may need to follow the guidance: pip install --force-reinstall eos-py==0.16.1 and then regenerate bfm2017

Yes,and I change to eos-py==0.16.1 ,it works! Thank you!
By the way,I can't install eos-py==0.16.1 with python 3.7 sucessfully,at last, I install it with python 3.6.

I have succesfully generate bfm2017-1_bfm_nomouth.bin in ./proxyEstimator/bfm2017.

yes，it can't install eos-py==0.16.1 with python 3.7 ,all can't support build through whl file。it need python=3.6.when I create a new python=3.6 enviroment,I can success install eos-py==0.16.1
