I did briefly start writing a bower.json but I can't remember why I abandoned it. Can you make one and send a pullreq?

As for checking in compiled versions to the repo, I probably won't do that. If it gets published to bower it won't be required, right?

I guess I can also upload the compiled files to the release tags on GitHub. I'll do that for the latest release.

Well, bower currently fetches from the repo so it requires the compiled source to be in the repo.
So there is no point in having a bower.json file if you are not checking in the compiled source.

However, I think there is a way for bower to get the release .zip so I think uploading the compiled files for each release would be great. 👍

I checked it out and it works, but can you release it by putting these files along with libjass.css in a zip instead? Since bower loads the zip and extracts it into a folder.
