👨‍💻🏦👨‍🏫 In the past, I've worked as a software engineer, a quantitative financial analyst and an English teacher.
💻 These days I'm busy working as a freelancer on a number of AI/ML projects, including an open-source LLM project, a personal project involving CNNs, and content authoring for a major MOOC provider.
🌎🌍🌏 I have lived and/or worked in 4 countries and traveled to another 5.
💭 I live to learn. I've dabbled in photography, electronic music production, astronomy, philosophy, languages/linguistics and more.
💬 I'm a native English speaker and فارسی زبان مادری‌ام است و 日本語も良く話せます。そして　je suis en train d'apprendre le français maintenant.
🤖 I recently got into microcontroller and microprocessor DIY projects (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) and I'm loving it! I'm tinkering and thinking of getting a 3D printer at some point, too.
🏕️ I love nature. I enjoy solo camping and going for walks/hikes.
🎮 I like board games as well as video games as an art form. (But few video games pass the "art" threshold).
💜 Other things I like: I love mathematics, books and audio books, and film. (Though, again, fewer and fewer movies pass the "art" threshold these days. Also sadly I don't really have time to watch movies anymore.)
