I think that is possible, but I don't see the point. What is the advantage of this approach over making symlinks to the subdirectories? In your example, /local/mount/point/ could be a symlink to /gdrive/folder/filter. Remember that this application isn't a sync application, i.e. you don't have a copy of the remote files on your local filesystem.

I thought it is sync app.
Recently come from Windows so I forget about link powers :)
Sometimes there is shared project folder on Drive (images, code, ...) i want to use as folder inside project folder, but with mount + links this is even better then I thought.
So this can be used on vm (ex.Koding) without wasting storage space, great!.
