Looks like this requires some escaping. By prepending the # with a backslash I was able to fix this issue. So for example, the following works:

\#direction: right
\#padding: 15
[<actor>systeem] - [<usecase>vraag]
[<usecase>vraag] - [<actor>OTV]

We should probably call this out in the documentation though, so I'll keep this open for now until we've properly documented this.

Oh! This is nasty.
I guess we didn't think this one through. The pound (or hashtag) is also the comment symbol for Gherkin. However, it does not allow you to place comments between the Feature declaration and the first Scenario declaration which is exactly where you would use the UML.

(More specific: you are allowed to use the comments, Gherkin just doesn't allow you to continue the feature description after that.)

While I do believe this is an issue with the Gherkin parser/standard, we will add this to the documentation to better inform future users.

I actually tried upgrading the Gherkin parser to a newer version, which introduced some breaking changes, but didn't solve the issue here in the end so not sure if it's worth it.
