Ye defo same issue. I also use bit defender on the hosted machine but it's the same issue with connecting from my phone which hasn't got it. All other laptops that connect also have bit defender on and struggle to process images.

It appears the issue has cleared up via an update to Bitdefender - I'm now able to use the webui through the --listen parameter without Bitdefender causing issues.

Looks to be same issue here, at least for me: #16025

I also run BD, but on the machine hosting A1111. Adding exceptions to all A1111 folders doesn't allow me to use WebUI on mobile or another machine

if the issue is caused by some other external software especially security software such as bit defender, then there is basically nothing we can do it about it

I'm no expert on the topic so take my words with a grain of salt

I'm guessing that bit defender works by acting as a transparent middle layer between network

transparent: the software is not aware that this layer exists it works as if it's not there

basically bit defender has the ability to decide what gets through and what gets blocked
I'm guessing that bit defender dicides to decide to block the incoming traffic from you webui webpage

from WebUI (and any other program for that matter) standpoint everything is working as normal
but it just never received a request of generating images because it is blocked byt bit defender
we have no way of knowing the request in block because ... well ... it is blocked you never received it
we are blind (we cannot see what we cannot see)

it is basically the same as if you disconnect your network at the moment when you press generate

there's nothing we can do

the only thing you can do is by either configuring bit defender correctly to allow certain traffic or just not use bit defender

the only way that I can see for this to be fixed on our side is for us to develop something that can somehow bypass bit defender
(aka malware for good intentions) and you bet that's not going to happen

Adding the IP of the system to bitdefender's exceptions fixed this issue for me and any others I was having.
