Oh yeah, that definitely won't work (currently).
karma-coverage
uses istanbul
internally, which in turn attaches all the coverage state to a global variable __coverage__
.
Since karma-ava
actually does per-test-file isolation (just like AVA on Node), the global __coverage__
variable is not being set in the parent window, but in each individual iframe. There needs to be some code to gather the __coverage__
variable from each child, and transmit it up to the karma server, which can then combine them all (as karma-ava
already does if you run multiple browsers at once).
This probably isn't trivial, but also probably not super hard.
