I don't think we really need to add 3 additional projects to support that,maybe we can add a parameter for that because it may be useful for someone but for now i think just adding a comment would be sufficient

3 seperate projects would not be required because you could just set multiple target frameworks, like
<TargetFrameworks>net6.0;net6.0-windows7;net6.0-macos</TargetFrameworks>
and then use either #if in code
from avalonia-dotnet-templates.
