Hi Harry, what operating system are you running this on? I cannot reproduce the error on Windows 10, macOS, or Linux.

As portable as Go is, I noticed different behavior depending on the OS for some network functions. I tried to call out those differences in the book or avoid code them altogether. I just committed a change to the README that walks you through running the code in a Docker container. Please see if you can replicate your issue in a container.

I am facing the same behavior as @harrisoncramer mentioned.
But in the book, at page 55, there's mention of it.
This error isn’t necessarily a failure,
so you simply log it and move on. It doesn’t cause your test to fail.

So I thought of it as an expected behavior, because it really doesn't fails the test.

Also the book is very good.
