When cloning the repository, be sure to use --recursive
like this:
git clone https://github.com/Azure/azure-iot-sdk-python --recursive
from azure-iot-sdk-python.
The problem is that when we clone the repo, the c directory is empty. the c is a submodule to download it run: git submodule update --init
Now re-run build.sh, you will have some errors complaining about some directories not having a cmake file, change into each directory and re-run git submodule update --init. works for me.
from azure-iot-sdk-python.
When you are cloning the repo use the "submodule update --init --recursive" options.
With that, all the submodules will be cloned and updated.
