So -

I'm still debugging this, but the demo site at the moment seems to be including 2 different angular + sails related things. This library (ngsails.io.js) and kyjan's angular-sails.js (i think).

Also you've still got example.js (which also opens a connection), as well as socket.io.js included twice (once in sails.io.js, and once in its own file)

I cloned Taskboard and tidied up, seems to behave better. I'll leave this open till you try it out.
