Thanks for this. It turns out honor isn't the commodity it once was. I find it relatively difficult to raise the honor. I can't see immediately from the code what would be clearing the honor in the graph case but it is a real issue. Thanks for spotting this.

Bob can you please have a look at this as you know the honor logic and the graph logic. Many thanks.

This might be a bug, or it might be that not much honor is being accumulated in the first place.

The main way in which honor is obtained is via grooming, and that depends upon friendliness. So possible causes for not much honor are that maybe apes just don't meet very often, or when they do they don't like each other.

Plotting the indicators in the GUI would be a good way to see what's happening to these parameters over time.

Hey Bob, there are three parts to this issue.

  1. When you select the Honor (Distribution) graph, all honors are set to zero (reported here by Modesti, and verified that this occurs by me).

  2. My observation that honor is scarce. It took a few days for two apes honor to reach 1. After I tried the graph, the honors fell to zero and I wasn't able to get any more honor to any of the apes following multiple days of running.

  3. My observation that the honor graph doesn't produce any graphing that I can discern.

I think 1 and 3 are bugs. Based on 1 and 3, I don't think 2 is observable outside adding debugging output in the code. What are your thoughts on this, Bob?
