How do you think about to add also a check for "ferror" after the calls of the functions "fread" and "fwrite"?

In terms of process, checking if a file closes properly doesn't provide an error that can be resolved or effects a flow. Checking the bytes written or read (i.e. x = fread(...), y = fwrite(...)) is more meaningful and to a lesser extent ferror. I'll look through the code and amend accordingly. Can you go into more detail about how aspect-oriented software development would be of benefit here? The single link didn't provide much detail.

Error detection (and corresponding exception handling) is a well-known cross-cutting concern. How do you think about to encapsulate it as a reusable aspect in your software?
