I like busted (really it's the only framework for Lua I tried), but will be happy to switch to any framework
from class-commons-tests.
Busted has lots of features, and looks really nice. I haven't used it, but it seems easy to get started with. Syntax looks pretty much close to Telescope, which is the one I am still using.
Side note, Busted has TAP support, according to its docs.
There are some other tests libraries, see here, but it seems to me Telescope and Busted are much more popular.
Also, do we really need a compat-env module if we are going to rely on a library for testing ?
