Hi there

I have a Doctorate and a Master's degree in Philosophy.
So far, my research has been focused on the concept of sophrosyne (self-control, moderation, sanity) in Homer, Plato, and Aristotle.
I'm also interested in ancient philosophy in general, political science, the Greek language, digital philology, and the digital humanities more broadly.
I am keen to share macros, workflows, and scripts I developed in my research. Part of this effort has been documented in the Tropical Classicist's Digital Guide (Guia Digital do Classicista dos Trópicos), a digital humanities project to divulge resources in the Portuguese language.

- 🚀 ScrivQ - Template Scrivener project designed for Quarto and Pandoc that exports multiple files, handles cross-references, manages bibliography, and builds complex YAML (it features hundreds of built-in parameters ready to be included/excluded from compile with many useful links to the documentation). Outputs Books in PDF, HTML, DOCX, and Websites in HTML.
- 📚 Cite Tools - This extension introduces advanced bibliography features to Pandoc and Quarto's Citeproc environment. It bundles several Lua filters to address complex bibliography demands while keeping the output consistent across all formats (LaTeX, DOCX, HTML, and so on).
- 📚 Cite Field - Lua filter for Pandoc and Quarto that allows printing any field of a bibliographic entry using [@Citekey]{.csl_field} as in [@Citekey]{.author}.
- 🌐 Website with the work of the literary critic Leo Gilson Ribeiro.
- 📖 Aristotle Bib is a bibliography with all the principal critical editions of his works and links to other resources online.
- 📖 Aristotle, Phys III 1-3 is a dynamic outline of Physics III 1-3 using the Greek text of Ross (1936) and the translation of Joe Sachs (1995).
- 📖 Corpora contains an Alfred workflow and a Keyboard Maestro macro for fast access to Perseus Catalog, Thesaurus Linguae Graecae, and LOEB Classical Library.
- 📖 Greek Authors and Works in TLG is a list of Greek authors and works in TLG with links to TLG online, Diogenes and Perseus Catalog.
- ⚙️ ABNT-Phi is a citation style language file for Zotero/Pandoc following ABNT rules with workarounds for referencing classical works that use abbreviations instead of the usual Author-Year.
- ⚙️ Abntex-o-matic is a Pandoc LaTeX template configured for a thesis or dissertation. Includes an example Scrivener file.
- 💎 inline_fn ruby gem to convert traditional style markdown footnotes to inline footnotes (pandoc or mmd-style).
- 💎 grc ruby gem with string methods for working with Ancient Greek (GRC) in Ruby.
- 📝 Ooutline to PDF is a template file and an Applescript for exporting fully formatted Markdown files from OmniOutline documents, then using Pandoc to convert them to PDF preserving internal row-level & cross-references (OO/Rtf → Markdown → Pandoc).
- 📝 TBibTex contains a Tinderbox template file for managing BibTeX Files and generating Alfred compatible JSON for quick bibliographical look-ups, citations, and opening the corresponding Tbx note.
- 📝 Pandoc-Tinderbox contains a template file integrating Pandoc into Tinderbox.

- 📝 Mellel e Bookends (ABNT) contains a Mellel template file following ABNT rules and is synced to a Bookends library.
- 🤖 DEVONthink 3 Backlinks is a script to add backlinks to markdown files in DEVONthink 3
- 🤖 DEVONthink 3 Snapshot Mechanism is a script to create a Scrivener-inspired snapshot mechanism for editing plain text files within DEVONthink 3.
