write.csv() has been implemented, opening a new ticket for capture.output

from renjin.

Agreed, will move to the top of the list. In the meantime, here is a simple workaround:

 as.csv <- function(df) {
    sapply(1:nrow(df), function(row.index)
       paste(df[row.index,], collapse=","))
 }

 df <- data.frame(x=1:12,y=(1:12)*2)
 writeLines(as.csv(df), con = "test.csv")
