Should be fixed in 8f521b2. I'll leave this open until we have a new release.

Just an FYI. I cloned master and tried to build locally (Gradle 1.10 and Groovy 2.2) but got a bunch of test failures. I did not have time to dive into them and figure out the problems but though it might be relevant here. If I have time this weekend I will try and get more information about the test failures and create an issue ticket if its a valid problem (and not just something I did wrong :-) )

No, the test failures are expected, @ben-manes told me there were problems with them. Feel free to look into the tests and try to fix them though. :-)

Looks like http://central.maven.org/maven2/com/google/inject/guice/maven-metadata.xml doesn't show the current releases (version 3.0 is missing). Is this behaviour to be expected or a cache problem at maven central?
Would it be ok for the failing test to use another test case for outdated versions instead of the snippet below?

PR #19 makes the plugin work with Gradle 1.9 and Gradle 1.10.
