Thank you for your input. Do you perhaps know whether this is directly related to a particular version of Android, or indeed Chrome? If you could let me know the versions, I'll be sure to look into it. I have a number of Android devices for testing (including the Virtual Devices), so will be sure to find a fix.

Awesome, here is everything:
Nexus 4:
OS: 4.2.2; Nexus 4 Build/JDQ39
Chrome 18.0.1025469
Webkit version: 535.19 (git@30c8f76)
Javascript Version: V8 3.8.9.29
Nexus 7:
OS: 4.2.2; Nexus 7 Build/JDQ39
Chrome 18.0.1025469
Webkit version: 535.19 (git@30c8f76)
Javascript Version: V8 3.8.9.29
It's the same for both.
Thanks you!

Thank you for providing the data. Do you know if the library works in the native Android browser?

Just busted out our old Nexus S default android browser, works perfectly.
It's probably exclusively Android Chrome. Android Firefox works too.
Chrome is now the default browser for the Nexuses

OK, thank you. I'll be sure to look into it tomorrow when I get back into the office.

Hey no rush, but thanks so much! You've brought back to life many of the neat gestures we had going before jQuery 1.9.
I should also mentioned, we're using jQuery 1.9.0

Turns out that this is a problem with our feature detection of touch events. This will be fixed in the release later today.

The new release should now fix this issue (tested on AVD).
