It is definitely the most professional one, but also the one with the most work involved.

If I understand releases right, I think you have to create the release, then tell me via @-mention and I update the package.

I just checked out some popular bash script called neofetch and it has a release-based package and a -git package. But in the release-based one it also downloads the whole repository (with readme and all) just like in the -git package O.o

just checked, and it's not the README but the commit history which is huge, so releases should be fine.

Yeah release will be fine. Its good idea. And lately we are not making any huge changes or anything so it will work just fine.

@AUTplayed I have released v1.0 and glad to tell you that it works as expected. The size is down to mere 6.4kb. So it was good call.
Waiting for you to update AUR package with necessary changes. :)

I'm working on it. By the way, can you rename the version tag to just 1.0 and not v1.0 ? please and thanks
(it doesn't really matter, but all the others are doing it)
