There's a few ways you could do this.
You could listen for changes on both calendars and whenever one changes set the date on the other one.
You could also listen for either calendar being shown an adjust the date as they're displayed, according to the other calendar.

Thanks for the reply, but that will actually show the date in the input field. I just want to change the default date that is seen when the calendar is displayed. Ideas?

Yup, you can use .setValue(value)

event to dispatch.
