The Technical Panel discussed this issue on 6 December and agreed that the authorisation of staff to charge an order to a particular fund or funds is currently out of scope for LCF. Such authorisations fall into a grey area between the current scopes of LCF and BIC Realtime for Libraries, so it is not possible to say at present whether this would ultimately fall within the scope of LCF, of BIC Realtime for Libraries, or some combination of the two.
