I intentionally removed openclose animations when switching between views (ie from wall to list). Using esc always goes to main menu and then there is an animation.
I really can't reproduce the tv show logo empty screen. Could you maybe pm me the skinsettings section from your guisettings.xml. Maybe it's some combination of settings I haven't tried yet.
LowList works for me as intended. Hit left and press select to play trailer.
I removed paused label on the player controls. Might add it with the playercontrols deactivated.
I can't change the layout of the flags. I know it would look nicer in this particular situation, but it would be a solution for a minority and not the majority if you know what I mean.
I intentionally keep the ar for tha actorthumbs because they vary so much in size. With face pictures you don't want to have stretched images or scale them imo.
No director thumbs available afaik. Would be a nice addition.

Here's the complete guisettings. I have this one 2 htpc's independly installed so no copy/paste of settings. Probably some weird combination somewhere
