You can delete the drawable-xxxhdpi directory if eclipse doesn't like it. It's there to support hi rez devices. The gradle build system complains if it's missing. I stopped using eclipse a long time ago. I don't know about the error unless it's because of the directory .
It's a good idea to read the android docs and start with something simple if you are a beginner. The best place to ask questions is probably Stack Overflow.

The Official IDE for Android. They stopped supporting eclipse several years ago.
