Please verify your header search path and framework search path build settings.

We use CocoaPods so this shouldn't be an issue.
I verified the header search paths and the HockeySDK Pod is in it.

Did you check the framework search path? Especially build settings differences between your app target and test target.
Since your app target build works but your test target does not, the chances are very high that his is a build settings issue and not a code issue. Now if the problem is coming from your project build settings or cocoapods settings has to be determined.
Please post the complete output from the console of the compiler call and all its parameters and the error text.

Just for completeness: 3.5.1/2 introduced a new feature exposing a callback from PLCrashReporter which required to also expose the PLCrashReporter framework headers publicly. That's the reason for the new #import
statement. And there is nothing wrong with that line.

Ok, I resolved it:
setting ALWAYS_SEARCH_USER_PATHS=YES
in Build Settings.
Thanks for the quick feedback. And have a nice weekend.
