What I meant was:
Put an bitwarden icon in the menu bar (red rectangle):

and remove it from the dock (sorry, not tray that was the wrong word)

Not sure if this is the same as mentioned in #15 number 1?

I hope by removing "macOS" from the title means you're including Windows users and possibly Linux to this request. My start bar real-estate is in high demand! :)

What kind of functionality are we wanting in the tray icon? Is this just going to be an icon that the app minimizes to and then re-opens the apps when clicked?

That's all I'm looking for, however, if you're looking for ideas, KeePass has a little right-click menu with the following choices:

Tray/Untray
Generate Password...
KeeAgent (This is a plugin I have installed that works with the Windows SSH program Putty, so won't show up for everyone)
Options...
Lock Workspace
Exit

@kspearrin, on macOS usually the apps that have a tray icon run in background even when they are quit (Cmd+Q).
That may be useful if we want a global unlock (unlock the desktop app once and then all the desktop extension are unlocked).
