The fix above addresses the issue with the device screen flicker, however, i think it causes the application running on a 7.0 or 7.1 simulator to only show a white screen otherwise known as a white screen of death. A work around for this is to incorporate a logic check to see if the application is running on a simulator, but I do not think you want to couple the bbui.js to the blackberry platform. I created an extension to get the device info however, this would require users to get a webworks extension api I developed to gather device info. Let me know if you want to discuss.

I tried out those changes but it didn't seem to work for me.. In the latest update I also removed the fade from BB6.. there were very few devices that could actually render it and look good.

It works on the bold 9900. Have you updated bbui lately? If so ill go pull down the code. Rich balsewich used my fix in his app and the page transitions no longer flicker
