ngModel null results in today's date (should show empty)

@rvalenciano thankyou, so much I just stumbled upon the same solution too.. When I do this, the field is empty as expected, but when I click on the date field, the datepicker shows as "Invalid Date" to something like "Click to select a date" on the title bar. Any way to change that text?

Got it working. We do not need to Initialize Date if model value is null.

ng2-datepicker/src/ng-datepicker/ng-datepicker.component.ts

Line 233 in aff7438

this.barTitle = format(start, this.barTitleFormat, this.locale);

to actually check if we have an empty value, then assign 'Click to select a date', I can open a PR in the next hours.
